I forgot! Thanks for the reminder. I added it to the recipe I posted above (and of course I added it my tincture when I made it 6 weeks ago). Black pepper helps the body absorb the ingredients in the turmeric. Without the pepper you are wee weeing into the wind.
Today I got all my eyedropper dark bottles out. One step closer.

Honestly I woudn't trust the powders. I figure I can't go wrong with fresh turmeric. My Etsy seller grows it in her garden. Pulls some per order. And Etsy has an abundance of it for sale. Love Etsy!

Bought some corriander powder some years back that appeared to be mostly sawdust-I am sure I have some tumeric growing in an indoor pot but it has done nothing for years ,still healthy but no movement,like a plastic plant.

Got some root today and just had the idea of grating it into a jar of probiotic cultured milk(the good probiotics are quite expensive so I tip a third of a capsule in a jar of milk and have about four sips a day)
