Getting over heated in a specific location

If anyone knows what this is called or has it happened to you, pls share.

I went into a department store, Dillard's Clearance to be exact. It was July, hot outside in the South USA. It was my first visit to this area and to this store. After being in there maybe 10 minutes, I started feeling overheated and sweating. It was so intense, I asked a few fellow shoppers, if they thought it was hot in the store. They all said no and looked at me like maybe she is in menopause, but I'm not. It was so hot, my hair was wet on back of my neck. I had to hurry and pay for my item before I passed out. I thought well, I won't be coming back here in summer again.

Fast forward to November when it's much cooler and I tried going to the same store. And what happens? Yes, same reaction.

Hello, not sure what's causing yours but I get very bad dizzy spells in the same spots of certain local stores.(I am thinking that I may trigger these myself from the memory of having a dizzy spell at that spot previously)

CassandraApollo - Welcome to Spiritual Forums. You sound like a person who is highly sensitive to surrounding energies. I try to avoid going to stores as much as possible unless my spouse comes with me to keep me focused. I get distracted and feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of grocery items to pick from, for example. I also feel light headed and dizzy when there are too many people in the store.

My spouse is a people watcher whereas I don't get eye contact with anyone, but maybe the cashier. I went to the grocery store the other day alone at a very busy time of the day. As soon as I entered through the doors it hit me - bouncing energies from every direction. When I started walking my feet felt like they were stuck in mud and then things looked foggy to me. I felt my heart racing so I figured I better get what I came in for and get out. I used to be agoraphobic, but I've worked through it over the years.

Thanks for sharing your experience with getting hot in a certain location. I just thought I'd share my expereince to see if any of it resonates with you.

Could it be a high blood pressure spike? Did you eat or drink anything when there, high in sodium, with tyramine in combination with an maoi, a strong stimulant like strong coffee, etc.?
