Smile Learning multiple things at once? good or bad?

So I am interested in learning two things at the moment: tarot and Reiki.

Is it a bad idea to try and learn two things at once or would it be ok if I could handle that much information at once?

I feel very drawn to both. I have been drawn to both for a long time but have put off learning them, no reason why except that I tend to procrastinate.

I have tried to learn tarot before but didn't have the will power to put forth all the effort needed but I feel like I am ready to put forth the effort now. I also felt like I wasn't ready for Reiki when I wanted to learn it before but I feel like I am ready to take that on too.

I am just wondering if I should take it one at a time or if it would be an ok idea to do both.

I'd say it depends on if you want to do them both as a hobby or in the service of others. If you want to play with such things then do whatever you want, if you are going to be using them to advise others or as a career then I'd suggest learning one at a time and devoting all your discipline and determination to mastering one.

I'd also say there are better ways of healing and helping than tarot or reiki which can cause as much harm as they solve, but I digress, I never learned such things until I had experienced reiki and learned tarot (at an amateur level). These days I use prayer and meditation, or focused mental intention to use a scientific term, and I find they have the same benefits. Better actually, but again that is just my opinion on my experience.

Thank you for the advice!

For now I just want to do them as a sort of hobby. If in the future I decide to take one up to the profession level to help others, then I will focus just on that one practice.
