I wasn't providing spiritual answers for others (proselytizing) or attempting to do so or trying to teach (to impart knowledge of or skill in; give instruction in), I was just putting forth a proposition i.e. the act of offering or suggesting something to be considered, accepted, adopted, or done. This is a completely different concept than what you described above in your analysis of my statement i.e. proselytizing and teaching.
