...So Sir Neil has lost Scotland .
Germany and Switzerland both through. Hungary will have to wait until the end of the week to see if they will be in the top 4 best third places to go through.

Today's 2 games are both on at 8pm and are as follows.

Albania v Spain
(Altair v Sir Neil )

Croatia v Italy
( Redchic v Altair )...

And speaking of 'casualties' we have one of our own suffering just now.

Altair , poorly in hospital , and I'm sure we would all like to wish him well after surgery and a speedy recovery ....
Hoping he can see/ hear the Italy game later.

Get well soon Altair .

Awww Red, he's our "boy " isn't he ?
I don't think he realises just how much we do 'need' him.
He's part of our "pack ".

But in the meantime we look after his team's for him !!!

Goes without saying we send him love and very best wishes .

Get well soon Altair!

This is that documentary I mentioned earlier
https://www.theguardian.com/film/202...eyond-football

Both Fifa and the UK’s Football Association have had an awful lot to be ashamed of over the years, but hardly anything as bad as the breathtakingly spiteful, sexist and dishonest way they treated women’s football in the last century, particularly after the spectacular success of the 1971 Women’s World Cup in Mexico, an independent event defiantly held outside Fifa’s pompous auspices and discussed now in this riveting documentary.

Wow Pod. I didn't even realise that women's football went that far back, at least not in the media or general knowledge.
I suppose it's akin to boys wanting to be ballet dancers etc and how that was not acceptable going back several decades.

I think he's "tripping " just now as is common after anaesthesia ....
But I know he will appreciate everyone's best wishes.

Hmmmm. Times like this it makes me wonder if people ever know how much they mean to others?
