Cavansite
I managed to get hold of 2 beautiful pieces of rough cavansite for less than E5!
I got another more expensive one, still very affordable, I'd say cheap even, considering that it's rare and very expensive.
The more expensive one has a complete rosetta/ball of gorgeous blue.
When it arrives I can maybe see whether it's cavansite or pentagonite (by the endings of the needles).
I wanted it as it's simply beautiful and I love that aqua & indigo colour blue, but also because it can aid with tinnitus.
The largest pieces is on -I think- heulandite and the feel of that brought tears to my eyes. It moved me greatly, so not getting is wasn't an option.

Yes, the colour of it is amazing! aqua/indigo/ultramarine. Totally gorgeous!
I asked and was told that the largest one isn't on heulite but stilbite.
They are on their way, should arrive tomorrow :)

iirc ik you're not a big fan of lapis lazuli, but I am and when I saw Cavansite i remembered one of the reasons I like LL which is its ultramarine color. One day I will decorate in ultramarine color an entire room, ultramarine and white, makes me think of Greece for some reason hmm..

I have photos of buildings and indoor patios in ultramine blue, all in Chefchaouen, Morocco. The blue city.
One day I hope to visit it!
It's absolutely gorgeous, but I do feel it isn't suited for every room. If for instance the room already has a cool light, like when situated on the north side, I don't feel it does it any good to go for blue walls.
It needs to be a room that's on the west or south and gets a lot of sunlight, like the city of Chefchaouen in Morocco.
Then it's like an oasis in the heat!
Also when combined with some aqua would be great! Gives me a Mediterranean feel. You indeed can see it in Greece, but I think also Portugal? Again warmer, sunny areas.
I do like LL btw, have got a master piece myself from Afghanistan with very barely any white or pyrite, so almost pure LL.
I do find it difficult to connect with it.
Cavansite can have both ultramarine but also more aqua colour.
Pentagonite, which looks very similar and is like a twin of Cav. (they're dimorphs), is more ultramarine, never aqua or teal.
I think the larger piece I bought is pentagonite as it's entirely ultramarine in colour. The other two smaller pieces aren't, have lots of teal/aqua.
