..Hands up if you've been to the new Wembley stadium in London ???
Oh gosh, I went.
We were one of the first ones there one day ( like to get money's worth.......)
I can't even begin to describe how AMAZING the atmosphere was , even in an almost stadium.
I've been in footy stadium's before, but this one is just SO special.....
( We would not have ever been able to afford this experience , but where I worked , the director had a permanent box/ seats but often couldn't attend so he used to give a ( free) raffle to his staff to anyone that wanted to go.
We got the tickets twice !!!!! The first time , my husband took my son because he is a football freak. ( His dad was dying of cancer at the time, my son I mean, so this was a lovely treat )
The second time I went.....
Can't describe the feeling !!!

Haha....yes there !!! But only as a guest on a school trip once and before that to John lukic's testimonial against his other team Arsenal in 1996 . He was goalie and he played one half for Leeds and the other half for Arsenal...

Hmmm.... So I couldn't remember where else I'd been, then I realise no-where else except Wembley that time.
I was thinking of headingly stadium where I took the kids to watch Leeds Rhinos courtesy of free tickets given by the Rhinos to the primary school kids .
( I don't like rugby but the boys wanted to go and it was free .
AND we had to stand up !!!! )..... |

I was talking to REDCHIC about Anfield and their "you'll never walk alone anthem , and asked if anyone could post it ( above ) and it was my post number 1,111.......WOW...

Well now they are all 1113! I see what you mean.
Only thing I can think of is some thread or threads got deleted you could have posted a lot on ---even a few
weeks ago and forgot about.
I don't notice or look at the post numbers, myself.
(Btw, I wanted to say the 'whole bloody thread" is bloody a bad word?
I watch SO many British shows and they say it a lot. "Unforgotten" at the moment. I know, I'm off topic.)

It’s on YouTube YNWA. Gives me goosebumps and when your in the stadium it’s just absolutely awesome! The fans MEAN it as well cos when we play badly they even sing it at the end of the game to encourage our lads.
When you YouTube it add Anfield to the title and you can see it for yourself.
Best anthem in the world lol
