Saving God's / 'our churches' - and getting them busy again.

Thank you for that information my friend BigJohn - every time you post and your name is on display that visitor counter rockets, we're going to make a difference, especially for some struggling Christian Churches in 2024 between many of us, in what I think will be - the Great Church Revival of 2024 - we shall see... Connecting to those 1000's in towns into spiritual is very important - get them in for 40 mins energy, smiles, powerful teaching - energy boost...

Oh course there's one big thing with possible church revival in 1000's of churches - 'free will is in play'... Many times it's senior age people making the decisions - we've always done it this way etc.

And do you know some Ministers are good at saying something lighthearted - but when a Minister tells a good joke or a story with a serious face - that is special......

I would like to see this thread flooded with 'good' lighthearted / funny comments / good jokes that churches can use alongside the powerful preaching - to create energy... They could be a post that suddenly appears onscreen while the Minister just stops a moment, and seems to be reading, or a good mind strength quote that suddenly appears - that's for every church to decide / plan - but at least here we could create ideas - again free will in play...

Something you might want to look at is a movie called "Time Changer". A Doctor at a Bible Seminary is transported in a time machine from 1890 to the 21st century. Based upon what he saw while in the future, he revises his manuscript and changes the title to "Time Changer".

One of the interesting parts of the movie is when two policemen went to arrest him...... moments before his return to 1890.

To get people back into churches or chapels you have to change the mindset of man.
todays world is all social media, right or wrong its the way it is,
church is to stuffy for the younger generation. what they want to read is not Gospels but something that concerns them.

I was sent a dream last night by God... How do I know - because I've been here before usually 1am, dream wake up and roar a bit like the old trains make choo choo, but gentle roar roar roar roar, very gently - and you get up to write.

I've been specialising in God's Mysterious Ways these last few years...

And this dream I'm on this train in the cab smashing through all these big glass doors, seemed like millions of pieces, amazing to watch, one after another - so I wake to roar and immediately think of churches, and I said in mind so don't wake the wife, I don't believe the Church Revival Project is a train crash God.

That's what I said, and I listened to the roar as I've learned to do - and I know things... it's not a train crash at all 'free will is in play though' - the dream is God guiding me with this Church Revival / Regeneration Project to get the job done - still free will in play by all.

The train had stopped in this like big building where there were a few people, but it had stopped safely - God getting me to where I should be then it's free will by all of you...

But think carefully about your service length - it's a busy world out there.

So I'll write this here on this group, and on Spiritual Forums and to my church, who really should be frontrunners in this new type of services by now, there'll be more to be said here and there - and churches at least have your talks regarding changing slightly or more to survive.

This is part of my new talks at the Rotary Club, Sutton Hall, as and when again - and in churches something like this for 5 mins? And why not, just to make a service 'different' - feel free to use it anyone...

Talks Sutton Hall etc etc... In this modern fast world we live in - its so important some calm time several times a day, just to 'stop the busy mind' - to be In the moment.

Ten seconds just focusing on something, smile 😃 this allows the 2nd brain 'yes it exists' in the gut - just to allow ideas come to mind without expecting, so be in the moment - mind calm.

Then you The Self decide, as an idea comes if its ego or spiritual guidance - yes both there, 'both exist' for all of us, it's just that most people don't know this happens....

And restless in bed 'can be' you're off path - calm the mind for guidance from God and Spirit Guides.

The ego is important - it's part of us that stops us crossing the road without looking, but it can be over controlling our ego, then it's trouble.

So keep those 'vibes' personal energy vibrations up everyone with a smile, some calm time - especially after a hard day - a nice drink 20 mins 'you time' phone out of the way, and breathe, smile, some nice thoughts and enjoy that drink...

And then we the self as in look after yourself come up with good ideas and plans... But it's not always us - we're good at planning, but those ideas - that just come to mind can be special.

Many great songs and inventions just came to people's 'gut feeling' just knowing - where do people really think these ideas come from...

Anyway, thanks for allowing me to talk here today - and remember some calm and smile time during your day.

I was asking myself, is a place like the SF forum actually a modern form of church, or at least a kind of virtual religious building?

On the Yes side:
- lots of spiritually minded people congregating
- there is plenty of preaching going on
- only a small fraction of the membership actually ever show up
- can be quite inspiring and personal-development making on good days
- payment possible but not required
- dead members are mourned and remembered

On the No side:
- in a church, discussion is not allowed/tolerated
- no rituals, no singing, no formal community services
- few churches are open and available 24/7
