Hi :)
Hoping to pick up some more citrus oils soon!
It seemed to go well with the chamomile oil. My book has a chart which states the etheric colours ~ will read more about that :)
Ylang Ylang is nice! I fell asleep... lol

Hi :)
I like drifting off to sleep, and then waking up to a cold cup of tea in the morning. Picked up some Grapefruit and Orange oils ~ they smell amazing too!
I'm yet to make up something for my skin. One of my books on crystals mentions people using oils to warm/energise them ~ now I've read about making crystal water, but I wonder if the crystals have any effects on the oils? I'm guessing that like the blends of oils, there may be perhaps a synergistic effect...
... it would be nice to make something refreshing, to use when traveling :)

I use lavender essential oil on my crystals, but haven't really used other oils. They should be OK though, providing the crystal is suitable for use with oil and water (bearing in mind some dissolve or are more easily damaged).
As an easy start, you could try making a refreshing face / body spritz? You can also make mouthwash with essential oils, water and vodka.
You could use an indirect method for infusing the crystal properties into the oil. Much the same as making crystal water via the indirect method.

I'm guessing that they were probably carrier oils, used to warm the stones. Every now and again I'll put a drop of sage in the diffuser, when my crystals are about.Yes! It's good to be a little cautious...
That sounds like a good idea. I did have a sprayer, which I used with lavender oil in the house. Perhaps I can get hold of a sprayer, for the amber bottles that I have.
Recently, I picked up a few more tubes of toothpaste, which have oils in them (fluoride free stuff :)
Yesterday I was feeling a little sluggish (don't tend to get headaches etc), so I put a few drops of Tea Tree on my feet

Just make sure you dilute your oils before using them on yourself. Lavender (used sparingly) is OK neat, but is one of the few suitable for this kind of use.

All of the bottles that I have, tell you to dilute before use etc :)
I guess that its best to use oils neat in a controlled setting ~ with a qualified aromatherapist...
... you wouldn't want to have a bad reaction, and then perhaps rub your eyes too!

A qualified aromatherapist will rarely use neat oils, especially on clients who might have a sensitivity reaction. It's people using them at home that tend to use them improperly.

a mouthwash with vodka ?
I would be a little nervous using essential oils in a mouthwash, wouldn't you ? what if your mouth re- acted not so good to them ?
I can see mixing them for a body spritz, or even to add into a bath .
