The Olympic games are not all based on hunting,we separate teams using territory,not saying it doesn't give rise to some violence but it has replaced local skirmishes,the sports that stem from hunting too as things like greyhound racing or drag hunting remove aspects of cruelty towards the prey.

Altair-having a world culture doesn't mean the buildings have to be the same,think of what we call the Western culture,there are many differences within that,also even some of our best buildings are inferior to those ancient ones,in thousands of years time if any of todays structures remain as evidence I am fairly sure those modern future people would be simpletons if they deduced from that solid clunking evidence that there was no expansive culture that amongst other things traded in materials,labour and skills.

Sport ANYDAY over war, rape, murder ,torture ....
( Although one could argue seeing England Lose to Germany EVERY time on penalties in the world cup is a form of torture )
( Also ... I DO NOT and never will accept foxhunting as sport ...disgraceful type of entertainment only found in the upper classes ....)

Haha.. don't worry... Take more than a few dodgy prawns to keep me down..
