Posting a response before I read through the thread in its full.
My view has always been like the fingers to the hand of the body or cells with in the body. I have always viewed everyone as children of God but not God themselves. I do things that Christians normally do not or should no by going into psychology to some extent but that is mostly a repair function for me and a way to forgive myself even if such a thing is silly to have to do. I could liken God to someone doing Active Imagination and the we that we are are the entities in God`s mind but that feels too much like using metric on a imperial system.
The reason for posting before reading the thread in all is I wanted to post my thoughts unaltered as this has been my thinking on what we are and what God is. I have always thought we are Gods mental construct as it were.

I always end up using "Father" for there is no better word I currently know to describe God nor the relationship with them.
