Thought it useful to share some insights from a Non Dualist view here. Although imo there is only an indivisible One, there is an apparent play of opposites at work in the world. There is the appearance of order and chaos, destiny and free choice. So although there is a path and destiny for all, the is also freedom. Just as how a tree has its form planned out in the seed, but it can branch out in various ways.
So in our human lives and soul lives there is a set path and destiny, where synchronicities happen, but there is also freedom and variation in how we get there. I forget who said it, but the play of life is like jazz music: there is a theme, purpose and pattern that underlies the freedom of expression. Order and chaos play together.
