Dark energy

Blessings everyone :)

I was doing reiki session to my friend (I didn't see her for 6 years). At the beginning I always do protection shield around myself, and I ask archangel Michael to help with the healing process.
During healing I felt very heavy energy on the floor in her bedroom.
Also we both had this weird kind of feeling that the reiki universal energy didn't want to come through. I felt difficulty during session I couldn't finish (stopped on the heart chakra) She felt it was heavy energy, that she couldn't take any more.
I spent a night in her home I had very dark dream about some kind of black threads...
I don't know what to think and what to tell her.
I never had such a experience ever ...
Please if anyone have an idea how to explain this or similar experience please share.

Usually before a reiki session I like to clear the space of negative energy. It sounds like this energy was blocking your friend and preventing her from receiving reiki.

I always Reiki a room before any Reiki session , worth a try.

Good information to know. I've always wondered if negative energy/entities can affect a Rekii session, even when I call upon God and angle;s

I have heard of negative energy attaching themselves to people...perhaps you can teach her to visualize a protective shield around herself. She has free will so if this is the case she can protect herself and tell the entity to leave and surround herself with energy of love and light only.
