Namaskar.

I have about 50 digitalised books on the life of Shrii Shrii Anandamurti, the founder of the socio-spiritual organization Ananda Marga. The members of Ananda Marga are convinced that He was God in physical form (Taraka Brahma) in the tradition of Shiva (7000 years ago) and Krsna (3500 years ago). These books are the proof that this is correct. No one in human history had the abilities that Shrii Shrii Anandamurti displayed throughout His life.

What does Namaskar mean? Btw, This is an English speaking Forum.
I have not heard ''Ananda Marga'' since the 1970s!

Understandings vary from neophyte to neophyte.

To say a this or that person is God is true, including all actually, since God indwells all forms (my view)

All that is, is God alone or if God is an inconvenient word, say universal consciousness or Self or whatever.

To quote from ‘The Holy Science’ by Sri Yukteswar Giri ‘God or Sat is the only true substance and is the all in all in the universe’ or words to that effect, the opening lines of the book, in fact.

Then, our own recognitions. Path any, what we recognise is that in our expanded state, we are the all. Who is the all? God within us is the all, breathing us, this form. Of course this also implies that we are not, meaning ego or illusion of separateness is not.

Oh yes, as for siddhis or yogic powers, I’d say it’s true they can come by but it means nothing by itself.

I agree with Unseeking Seeker, abilities or powers do not make a person a “GOD” per se, and at the same time we are all expressions of what may be called “GOD,” as the pure likeness of God dwells within us.

Further, in my opinion, books, no matter how old are not proof. The only proof a person needs is their own experience. A person who can not read, is blind, deaf, and mute, can still come to know that which many call God.

We can learn and expand our awareness from fools as well as from sages, as we are all, every single one of us, simultaneously students and teachers. This is my perspective, although I do strive to keep my heart open to other perspectives; thank you for sharing yours.

That would be soul-human evolution.

This is the way, Yogendra. In every incarnation of our soul-human evolution journey, our chosen beliefs become our bliss. As one cosmic traveller to another, thank you for sharing your beliefs and bliss with me, in this particular lifetime and moment of time. I learned something quite beautiful.

Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar seems to have been a wonderful human being and a true social visionary. And Ananda Marga is a magnificent endeavour, deeply loving and holy.

Having many psychic abilities is not a determinant factor of enlightenment.

The Divine or Brahman is there in every human being, and Shri Anandmurti may have realized it through his Self-realization or enlightenment.

Anandmurti's books do shed light on some mysterious psychic phenomena with his critical analysis and insights which I found useful.
