Does anyone else love showering?
Hi everyone. I find that taking hot showers makes me feel purified afterwards. Has anyone else found this?

Yes. Bathing in water is pure spiritual luxury. The symbolism of washing it all away is very psychologically powerful.
I remember 2005 being a very bad year for me, and I was grieving quite heavily for a lost relationship on 31st Dec 2005. I took a hot bath just before, and across midnight, into 2006. I remember how totally purified I felt, as if I'd quite literally washed away the pain as the old year ended. The 1st Jan 2006 felt as if I'd gone through a seismic shift in my grief.
The spiritual relationship humans have with water is far too overlooked. There's so much joy in simply drinking a glass of water, splashing it over your face in the shower, or just letting it fall on you from the shower head.

Yes. Particularly in the evening when it can wash away the woes of the day.

I have bucket washed for years now and use hymalayan pink salt in the water with essential oils, in the kettle I use to boil the water in I put conifer sprigs and used lemon and citrus peel.
(be careful if you try this as people can pick poisonous yew by mistake and also the chemicals on peel, wash the skins with vinegar)
