A Woman and Two Rooms

I had a dream a few nights ago and it started with a room where I saw this woman standing alone. I gave her a hug and afterwards she went and stood in a corner facing me. I noticed a doorway leading into another room to my left. I took a step towards this room and noticed a violin on my right and a cello to my left. This woman said that she got that instrument for me. I was attracted to the cello and felt that she was referring to that instrument. (As a side note, I am not a musician at all and do not know how to play any musical instrument).

Any insight as to what this dream may mean?

The female in dreams often represents one’s own feminine aspects. Giving one aspect a hug, and having her face you, seems to reflect bringing closer to you, an aspect you’re perhaps not fully recognising yet. The cello seems to represent a choice in how you build this aspect as yourself. The two instruments both string instruments but very different sounds and emotive reactions as I see them. You can ask yourself how that instrument makes you feel if you were to hear it played or played it yourself. Music and musical instruments can evoke an emotional response. Maybe you need to immerse a little deeper within to source what it all might mean as yourself. Listen to some cello music and maybe see what transpires.
