Absolutely...
Don't need money to enjoy the most beautiful leisure times in nature.

Red..don't encourage him.
It's embarrassing on a nature trail with the kiddies and it keeps dropping in the beck...
We have to "bribe" the kids not to catch tadpoles and sticklebacks , but "pay" them to find his crown....

Books too have been a massive part of my leisure time.
From being a very small child I don't think I could have lived without them.
It makes me wonder exactly how many I've read during my lifetime.
It's got to be thousands.

Same as you AB. Books are my thing as well. Don’t know how anyone can live without reading. Ide lose it if I didn’t have one to read especially at bedtime.

I use to go to one library and used to take out 2 bags loads of books per visit. A new librarian saw what I was doing and told me "Only 2 books at a time!"

An older librarian overheard the conversation and told her that is what I do........
I got to take my 2 bags of books home and immediately began reading them.

Aww that sounds like me! I come home with at least seven books at a time. Whenever I’ve moved house the first thing I do is look for the nearest library.

Ain’t the library the greatest free resource of the western world!
