Here’s a great video I stumbled upon, chronicling his spiritual progress in meditation.

Readers please note that the reference to advanced kriya yoga techniques like khechari mudra or breath cessation should not be attempted without a spiritual guru who is well versed in such techniques. In Lahari Mahasaya’s case, he was directly initiated by Mahaavatar Babaji. Lahari taught Sri Yukteswar Giri who passed on the teaching to Yogananda aka ‘Autobiography of a Yogi. So the lineage is clear, predating yet to Agastya Muni.

In fact, on my part, I have never attempted to engage in any meditation ‘method’ so I’m not endorsing anything here but yet I think this video offers great insights on the void and void within voids, as silence deepens and ego recedes.

Side note, I found fascinating, hanging with SRF members, I talked with the local person that leads
the group in my city....short version: She knew nothing, nothing at all about Khechari ..after 20 years of being a follower.
Later, in my surfing online...I saw, Oh, seems Paramahansa dropped that technique when he came to the West.
I understood his wisdom! :)

Nice video presentation and the accompanying music score is beautiful too.

And agree with taking the "slow boat".

If by the Void to mean a state of having let go of our false nature that is the ego survival mind and be in our true divine mind that is love, benevolence, compassion, and joy then the Void it is.

If by the Void to mean silence, emptiness, devoid of energies then that would be a bit confusing.

There is so much more happening within us, around us, and beyond us that we can't perceive while pretending to be humans in this very small 3d part of the vast grand whole multi-dimensional reality.

The diary in the video provided a record of a person moving from from 3d to becoming more multi-dimensional.

It is what some call more connected to their Higher Self that is their higher vibration part of themselves also known as the Soul.

The Soul being the energy bridge or energy stepdown electrical transformer between what some call God aka Creative Source, Universe, and many other names to mean the same at the highest multi-dimensional vibration energy that is pure love and humans at low 3d vibration energy.

Truly an amazing but extremely challenging human adventure of finding ourselves that we "jumped in line" for when we are not in the human form and in our true home on the other side of the self-imposed Veil of Forgetfulness.

While as humans, what will we choose and how will we behave when left alone with minimal divine intervention and then given free will to freely choose while forgetting or more accurately purposely having very limited access to what we truly are to start.

And the bigger question is, could we work our way to regain and remember some of the greater cosmic and Earthly wisdoms and truths that have always been stored within us to then have the benevolent maturity to choose love over ego.

What we do here living as humans and making free will choices is a very small part of a much bigger and grander divine plan impacting God's new creations to come and more. God loves trying out new things, improving, and be more efficient. It is why some call God the Master Physicists.

But then who is God? Suffice to say God and us are not separate. A piece of God is within each of us, and that is love. We are all extensions of God.

We came from love, and through love we return to the whole while we are in the human form.

When not in the human form, we each is a very small part that together form a very small part of the conglomerate multi-dimensional quantum whole being everywhere and in everything all energetically intertwined, connected, and entangled.

It's good to be humans sometimes and so the multi-dimensional part of us placed more attention on this 3d part of reality and here we are assisting with the ongoing test between high and low consciousness that some call a test between light and dark energies on this young newbie planet with civilization.

What we do here we had done similar on other newbie planets before this one. But as humans we just don't remember by our own design. This is not our first rodeo.

The thing about spirituality is in reality, is that it is not so much of a knowing interpreted by mind, which is in duality but rather a becoming, a transformation of our true being in heart, which resides in singularity.

Thus, in usage of terms, we must either directly experience or imagine. Direct experience leaves no room for doubt. Concepts however, are merely thought constructs and we then visualise as of our whim or conditioning or affinity.

So, to talk of the void, I would not know how others view it but simply stated, from my perspective, it is equal to the deep sleep state or Turiya* (*https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turiya?wprov=sfti1#) , in singularity, with awareness self-aware, bereft of identity or form. The reason we do not have recollection of deep sleep is because the moment we wake up, we are in duality, in differentiated perception, in a subject-object relationship. When all becomes one, we rest in subjective awareness.

The ‘trick’ is to be awake in subjective awareness.

Of voids within voids, what it would mean to me is dissolution of residual formless identity, which carries latent samskaras* (*tendencies) in the void. There is more than one void, as the sage Lahiri Mahasaya has pointed out.

For the sake of simplicity, we may look at voids as deeper immersions in silence. You are right to say it is ego dissolution but there are stages. We don’t leap into divine love right away. Love has several octaves, shifting from bubbling joy to selective empathy to universal compassion, rooted in purity of being and enabling bliss ignition in renewal in form (duality) to ineffable peace (in singularity, in light of Self). Pure love is the heart of God, wherein Self* (*living light, our true essence) is immersed ~ perhaps repeated immersions are required to assimilate what is imbibed.

Totally agree that spiritual things have to be experienced for us to believe. Because our human intelligence and logic often hinder our spiritual growth since they are derived from what we could perceive and know in this 3d part of reality we are living in, which is only a tiny fraction of the vast grand whole multi-dimensional reality.

There are much more knowledge and truths waiting for us to uncover, and far more of the rest of the whole reality waiting for us to explore and experience.

Take for example, everything in this universe regardless of mass or density rotates around the center of the universe at a constant speed. That alone contradicts our Newtonian Laws of Physics. And what if an object could vary its mass density, as Nikola Tesla had witnessed in his lab but could not understand yet.

Behind what we call spirituality and miracles is advance science of advance multi-dimensional quantum energy and physics, and more. Advance only because we are not aware of it yet, or not common knowledge yet.

While the use of separate dimensions such as 3d, 4d, 5d, and etc are used for simplicity, we are in fact immersed in the whole multi-dimensional reality without borders or containers of dimensionality. But by design the human mind comes pre-installed with a restriction template to greatly limit our access to the whole reality on purpose so that we could have our human adventure here of finding ourselves starting from being unaware.

As you have well stated nothing is ever simply black or white, as there are many shades of grey in between. What does the word Singularity really mean? Some say it is Oneness of and everything is only the divine Self. What if that Oneness is an infinite meld or an infinite conglomerate of energies that form the whole that some call Singularity or divine Self. And that Oneness to mean Oneness of togetherness of the highest vibration multi-dimensional quantum energies of love, compassion, benevolence, and joy. That means physical forms could be part of that Oneness.

Multi-dimensional quantum energy could "split" into unlimited multiplicities with all parts remaining energetically intertwined, connected, and entangled. And interestingly parts of the human body are multi-dimensional quantum energy receivers and transmitters. To name a few they are the pineal, heart, and DNA.

Each of us is one of the unlimited multiplicities. Each of us is a tiny part which forms a very very small part of the whole. And we will never lose our human identity, as that personal energy associated with our humanness is forever etched into our cosmic and Earthly Akash, and also into this beautiful planet whose consciousness is linked with ours.

Multi-dimensional energy means it exists everywhere, such that human concepts of time and space do not apply. And being quantum, that energy also exists in everything from the smallest of the small to the biggest of the big. From a human's perspective there might be silence and void and all their variations, but from the multi-dimensional quantum energy's perspective silence and void do not exist.

You brought up a very interesting point in saying that love has many octaves. Love is light, and different colors of light are energies of different frequencies of vibration that create different pressure in the air we perceive as sound. On the other side there is beautiful music of love. Beautiful music is gifted to us here from the much bigger energy part of us on the other side not pretending to be humans. Good music that makes us involuntarily tap our toes and wiggle our body.

Many people focus on non-duality and duality while on a spiritual path to solving the puzzle of who or what they truly are, and they wholeheartedly prefer being in the former over the latter. It would seem they have no love for duality as if it is a big hinderance to their spiritual growth. Why is that?

We are not here randomly or by accident in this universe that was designed to have push-pull physics. We are here because we wanted to be here. Took a lot of effort and refinement to get this beautiful planet just right for our habitation, and it took a lot of coordination and synchronicity for us to be in the human form here. Be grateful and joyful to be alive here living as physical form humans and given a rare gift of free will for us to explore and experience things that divinity and pure unconditional love would never choose.

Let's do our best not to hate on duality, but rather embrace it to gain greater experiences, wisdom, and compassion. There can be joy in this spiritually young chaotic world. We all need to work on not getting our buttons pressed so easily and fall into fear, anger, hatred, judgement, and vengeance that are attributes of our ego.

From love we came, and while in the human form here it is through love that we return to our true nature which brings us joy and happiness from being more in tune and hence more connected to our Higher Self that is our higher vibrating part of us some call the Soul.

When we have sincere love in heart and mind, by design it activates benevolent enhancements to our body and mind giving us far more control over our health, our life, and our reality. Then we will be in what some call a state of bliss 24/7, needing much less to mediate if at all. It is a human expanding their awareness and consciousness to become more multi-dimensional.

Then it should be no surprise that all spiritually advance and connected human messengers here throughout the ages uniformly taught people a better way of living life that aligns with love. To being humans with more caring, understanding, kindness, and respect for life. To being softer humans with less harshness and judgement, more able to cohabitate in peace, harmony, and cooperation.

Love is the Universal Truth, the way, and the life. Love is much more than just simply a beautiful human emotion as we know it. Love is the most benevolently powerful and highest vibration multi-dimensional quantum energy and more.

Love alters our body chemistry and physics, shifting us away from 3d to become more multi-dimensional.

Jesus walking on water is a miracle? A body whose cellular structures are vibrating at a much higher rate of frequency courtesy of pure love could alter its mass density to be less than that of water, and hence anyone in that state of high vibration could walk on water. This is not delusion, as Nikola Tesla had witnessed in his lab objects with mass density reduced to zero zinging around but he couldn't understand it yet.

All based in advance science of advance energies and physics not perceivable and undetectable using our 3d technology.

And when humanity at large ends its propensity to conquer, war, and kill, we will be given early multi-dimensional quantum technology to better understand what is happening within us, around us, and beyond us.

Then what we will find in the big "junk" part of our DNA will absolutely dispel all human notions that we are born here lowly, unworthy, or as powerless victims of this world.

We have the power to infuse light to this dark world. Power to bring Heaven to Earth. Quite contradictory to what many religions and spiritual systems that teach the idea being a human is not so good and we should abandon this chaotic world and go merrily to a place of paradise instead.

We all have work to do here.

Be grateful to be a human here doing what we do. We are magnificent beings here to ultimately assist with expanding light to this newest young newbie planet.

Duality is not a bad thing as it serves many benevolent purposes. We could find balance in duality if we choose to do so, and then be living in gratitude and joy.

At our state of awareness and consciousness it is human nature to see everything from a negative perspective, courtesy of our ego that shuns love for survival. The further we move along the spiritual path to love and away from the ego, the more we will see everything from a benevolent perspective being more able to see the bigger picture that is all benevolence and pure love.

Not that the ego is bad as it was purposely designed to keep us out of danger and to stay alive by instilling in us fear, selfishness, hoarding, and conquering while in this very unfamiliar low vibration part of reality in which evil and malice are naturally prevalent and dominate.
