Vibration

The last few months I have been meditating and I have recently noticed that sometimes my right foot starts to vibrate. It feels like a phone vibrating under my foot. I have also felt it when I am not meditating. It only lasts for a few seconds but am wondering what it could be?

Hi,

Vibration is quite normal when meditating. Try and sense when/where you get these vibrations. As you continue with your meditation, the vibration should get stronger and travel to different parts of the body. Vibration at the bottom of your feet could also be to do with grounding.

Hope that helps.

I think this is normal. May be a nerve reflex, kind of like the brain reminding your body that its awake. I get twitching on my toes....involuntarily!

I often would lose all contact with various body parts.
As if they weren't even there. Or they were in impossible positions they had no business being in.
It is probably good advice to practice not responding to these inputs, since distractions like that can really undermine the larger experience.
